Net send用于将消息发送到网络上的其它用户、计算机或消息名。所谓消息名可以看作是计算机的别名，它是消息被发送时使用的名字，可以使用net name命令添加或删除计算机上的消息名。接收消息的计算机只要运行信使服务(Messenger服务)才能正确接收消息。
