在Unix系统的历史长河中，sudo命令一直秉持着一种传统：在输入密码时，用户的操作始终保持静默。这种设计初衷是为了保护用户的隐私，避免旁人通过屏幕窥探到密码的长度。然而，这一沉默的输入方式在新一代用户中却引发了不少困扰。如今，随着技术的不断进步，Rust语言重写的sudo工具——sudo-rs，正是为了打破这一传统而应运而生。

sudo-rs 目前尚未大规模普及。即将发布的 Ubuntu 26.04 LTS 版本计划将其作为默认实现，而大多数其他主流 Linux 发行版仍默认沿用传统的 C 语言版本 sudo。
