As part of Healthcare Science Week, we are highlighting the work of Biomedical Scientists. Biomedical Scientists work within healthcare analysing samples taken by doctors or nurses, diagnosing diseases and evaluating the effectiveness of treatment. Support staff also play a vital role within our laboratories sorting the vast number of samples received daily. Cellular Pathology, Digital Pathology, Haematology, Blood Transfusion, Clinical Chemistry and Microbiology are also discussed. #HCSWeek2023
