ASMR preflight ✨ I went to go fly on Saturday but ended up making the call during taxi to turn around. Winds were picking up and instead of gusting 20 kts down the runway it was swirling into more of a crosswind. One of the other pilots at the fuel pump who’d just landed in a much larger plane said the downdrafts coming off the hills were really rough, and a bunch of turbulence pireps started popping up.
