SCALLOP CATCH AND COOK Catching these scallops reminds me of a time I wanted to catch clams in the mud flats up in Monterey Bay. I had been in LA for about a year at the time and had nearly no friends. It felt lonely and I wanted to get outdoors regardless of how I was feeling. I took the 5 hour car ride up and all I did was find copious amounts of mud. There wasn’t a single clam in site! I’m not sure if it was because I didn’t know what I was doing or what but I remember being super frustrated.
