Recently, the Ohio National Guard, along with the Civilian Marksmanship Program, hosted the 2022 National Matches First Shot Ceremony. The National Matches is a month-long event consisting of a mix of CMP matches, as well as, traditional pistol, smallbore, high-power rifle and long-range rifle competitions. National Matches First Shot 🎯 The Civilian Marksmanship Program’s 2024 National Matches First Shot Ceremony, which symbolizes the official start of the annual matches, kicked off Monday, July 15 at Camp Perry Joint Training Center in Port Clinton, Ohio.
