Cyanotypes are a super versatile, creative activity to take with you 'on the go'. I forage for interesting plants on route and keep all my equipment in this handy and portable A4 tray. Here are the steps to tone your cyanotypes: 1. Make a bleach bath using washing soda and water, and submerge the cyanotype until it’s yellow (there can be nuance to this, but I’m keeping thing simple here) 2. Wash your cyanotype under the tap to remove the washing soda solution 3. Make your toning bath using something with tannins, tea or coffee is a good place to start 4. Soak your cyanotype in the toning bath, making sure it’s completely submerged - I normally tone between 30 minutes to 24hrs,
