The Kilauea volcano on Hawaii Island continued its intermittent eruption Tuesday, shooting lava 400 feet into the air. Video showed the molten rock flowing down Kilauea as smoke fills the air. The U.S. Geological Survey said the eruption stayed within the volcano’s caldera in Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. This marks the 37th time Kilauea has shot lava since December 2024. | PBS NewsHour
