Vital Pulp Therapy: I am showing the treatment of a mandibular first molar with the diagnosis of irreversible pulpitis. You will see that a full pulpotomy was the treatment of choice in this case, with the surgical procedures brought to the level of the orifices. You will notice that, after removal of the roof, the pulp tissue in the chamber, although partly vital, appeared detached from the pulp chamber walls.
