Math fact strategy lessons can’t be one and done lessons. I have found that my students find lasting fluency when I review these all school year. And I have a simple system to do so. Each month has a focus strategy. We have 10 minute a day math fact centers. Our brains love these connections. Which means it makes it easier to commit the facts to memory. I also love math fact strategies because they help students discover the answer to the facts by themselves. If they forget a fact in the moment, they can pick a strategy to solve. Because they discover the
