Whipping a look in a fly line can be done several ways but I prefer to add 2 nail knots for added protection against failure. I’ll show how to do this with a Tie Fast tool. HYBRID FLY LINE is what you want it to be. You can construct your own fly line by choosing the weight of the belly and the length of the tip. The weight of the belly determines is it a "normal"/Scandi shooting head or a Skagit head. The lenght of the tip determines the lenght of the head. The Hybrid tips are sold separately.
