This is how i set up my hopper dropper rig. Rosenhopper size 8 as my dry fly, this is also acting like an indicator. 4 feet of fluorocarbon tippet tied to the hook of the hopper. Below that is a squirmy wormy. Then 12 inches of fluorocarbon tied to the hook of the wormy. Below that is a single orange egg. I add a split shot 6 inches above my squirmy wormy to help my flies sink quicker. Don’t be ashamed of using a squirmy wormy and/or an egg pattern. Worms and eggs are a great source of food for
