First home buyers—the Government’s new Co-Investment Scheme could be your golden ticket. They’ll co-invest up to 30% in established homes and 40% in new builds, and the 2025 Budget has lifted income and property caps to help more buyers. In Queensland, that means you can target homes up to $1 million in Brisbane and the Gold Coast (Sydney’s cap is $1.3 million). Applications open later this year and spots will go fast.
