The teaching strategy of dissection engages and inspires students to comprehend a particular anatomical structure. The dissection lab session was enjoyable for students in grade 10, who were able to study how the nervous system is organized and distinguish between the anatomical structures of vertebrates (sheep and fish) and invertebrates (shrimp).
