My preferred method: -replace water with milk -add 1 extra egg than what the box says -replace oil with butter (same ratio) A lot of people that I’ve seen recommend to replace the oil with butter will often say to double the quantity of the butter, such as adding 1 cup of butter rather than 1/2 a cup of oil.
