This simulation demonstrates the working of a half-wave rectifier using a single diode and a resistive load. The input is a 1 kHz sinusoidal AC source with a peak value of about ±10 V. The upper waveform represents the input AC signal, while the lower waveform corresponds to the output across the 10 kΩ load resistor. During the positive half-cycle of the input, the diode is forward-biased. Current flows from the source through the diode and the load resistor, producing a positive voltage across
